Pioneer Aggressive Investment Fund (Open-End)

It is the oldest equity fund in Poland that has been operating since December 18, 1995.

The Pioneer Aggressive Investment Fund (Open-End) is an equity fund whose main investment goal is to increase the value of capital. About 90% of all assets are invested in companies stock. The remaining part of the portfolio contains mainly debt securities.

We can recommend this Fund to you if you are willing to accept possible short-term losses when the stock market drops. But at the same time you may count on significant profits from your investments in the long-term perspective.

Investment Policy

In selecting stocks for its portfolio Pioneer Pekao searches for companies with solid financial foundations, which promise medium or long-term growth. It also aims to purchase the stock of companies which are undervalued by other investors.

In the stock selection process both quantitative and qualitative assessment criteria as well as macroeconomic indicators are applied.

Basic Quantitative Assessment Criteria:

  • current and forecast profits

  • cash flow

  • net asset value, debt to shareholder equity ratio

  • market value of the company in relation to its revenues.


  • Basic Qualitative Assessment Criteria:

  • quality of production and state of the production means

  • quality of management

  • value of the trademark

  • distribution network

  • whether a company has an investor or a strategic partner

  • company`s prospects for growth including, among others, the demand for its products, the need to develop its infrastructure.


  • To ensure safety and liquidity of its assets, the investment portfolio of the Equity Fund is properly differentiated. Pioneer Aggressive Investment Fund (Open-End) invests in many sectors of the economy but the share of any single sector does not exceed 30% of all invested assets. The stock of a single company generally does not represent more than 5% of the Fund asset value. The upper limit may be raised to 10% of the Fund`s assets if investment in the stock of a given company and in claims against it does not exceed 40% of the Fund asset value.

    The Fund`s investments are of a medium or long-term character.

    Minimum payment to the fund: 500 PLN (opening a register), 100 PLN (each following payment).
