Pioneer Equity Investment Fund (Open-End)

The Fund has been operating since 1997.

Fund Manager: Paweł Wilkowiecki and Piotr Rzeźniczak

The Fund invests in equities of Polish enterprises concentrating on most profitable and best managed companies. Thus long-term profits attained by investors should be significantly higher than the return rate of indices on the entire equities market.

The Fund`s investment objective is long-term growth of asset value achieved by outdistancing the benchmark, which entirely reflects the WIG index.

Investment Limitations:

The Fund will invest no less than 60% of its assets in equities.

The Fund is recommended to clients who are oriented towards a dynamic growth of their investments, but at the same time accept risk involved with changes on the stock market.

Investment Policy:

In the stock selection process both quantitative and qualitative assessment criteria of companies as well as macroeconomic indices are applied.

Basic quantitative assessment criteria:

  • current and projected profits,

  • cash flow,

  • ratio of company debt to its capital,

  • market value of the company in relation to its revenues.

  • Basic qualitative assessment criteria:

  • quality of production line and state of production equipment,

  • value of the trademark,

  • distribution network,

  • whether a company has an investor or a strategic partner,

  • company`s prospects for growth (demand for its products, need to develop its infrastructure)
